  1. When can I move in?

    As soon as you have found the optimal size for your needs, you may move in at your earliest convenience. View our Size Guide tool for additional assistance.

  2. What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

    You will need a government issued form of ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).

  3. Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

    No, we rent on a month to month basis so you may move out when you no longer need our services.

  4. What about insurance?

    We do not insure your belongings but keep in mind your homeowners, renters, or business insurance may cover your things in storage. Call your insurance provider to inquire. And if they do not cover your things we offer low cost insurance options for your unit. Ask an associate on staff for more details.

  5. Does someone have to be in the office to allow me access to my storage unit?

    No. Your gate access is 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year. Provided that your payments are up to date, you will be able to access your unit by using the access code to trigger the gate & enter the complex.

  6. How do I make a payment

    You can pay in person at our main office (30 Judson Blvd. in Bangor, 9am- 5pm M-F), through mail or on our website. You may also sign up to have the payment automatically deducted via credit/debit card monthly. This is safe & secure & our computer hides the full credit card number from view.

  7. What forms of payments do you accept?

    Checks, cash, money orders, VISA, MasterCard & Amex.

  8. Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?

    Yes, we sell packing supplies for all your storage needs. Stop by our main office to view our supply showroom.

  9. What are the hours of operation?

    Our staff is typically at the site throughout the day M-F, 9am - 5pm. It's recommended to call ahead and schedule an appointment with one of our on-site leasing agents to ensure that your storage needs are met.   10. Do I need to bring my own lock?

    Bomarc Self Storage has an assortment of various locks to fit all of your security needs. Purchase yours right at the site.

  11. Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

    You cannot store explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishable items. No food or contraband of any kind. Please contact us if you have any questions with a specific item.

  12. How much notice needs to be given when I move out?

    Preferably we require a 10 day notice before moving out. Our staff will go over that process, it's fast (only one move out paper to sign). You must be all paid up to move out. Just be sure to remove everything from the unit. Take your lock & sign move out paper.
